By NOEL IYOMBWATHE Lusaka City council will not enter into an agreement with any company to manage parking spaces in the Central Business District (CBD), Town clerk Alex Mwansa has said.Mr Mwansa said that currently the council was managing all the parking spaces in the CBD after cancelling the contract with Parkrite last year.“We have no plans of engaging any company to manage parking spaces council is now managing in the Central Business district, “he said.On October, 2016 the Lusaka City Council and Parkrite signed a Memorandum of Understanding to help manage parking space in the CBD.However, in January last year, the council terminated the agreement and Parkrite Zambia continued operating for three months within which the firm was expected to handover the parking sites back to the Council.This was in accordance with clause 3 of the provisional termination breach clauses of the Agreement.
