By KETRA KALUNGAWE are more than ready to deal with those who intend to deliberately break the law before, during and after the 2021 general elections, Inspector General of Police, Kakoma Kanganja has warned.Mr Kanganja said the Zambia Police Service would not fail to deal with lawbreakers because tools and means were available.He noted with concern the increasing levels of violence, abuse of social media, and propaganda in the country.Mr Kanganja was speaking during the integration of the Zambia Police Service on the Government Service Bus in Kabwe.“As Inspector General of Police responsible for maintaining security and peace in the country, I have noted with concern the increasing levels of violence, abuse of social media and propaganda,” he said.He urged all political players to conduct issue-based campaigns and desist from any form of violence.Mr Kanganja said the police service was ready to deal with any form of violence as directed by the Public Order Act.“I […]
