By SIMON MUNTEMBAPRESIDENT Edgar Lungu has wished United State of America President Donald Trump and the first lady, Melania, a speedy recovery following an announcement of the two testing positive to Covid-19.In a statement by his special assistant for press and public relations Isaac Chipampe yesterday, President Lungu said Zambia regretted the unfortunate development.“We pray for the health and safety of your Excellency and the first lady,” President Lungu said.Meanwhile, President Lungu said as the world continued to grapple with the effects of Covid-19, Zambia reaffirms its support to all initiatives aimed at curbing the scourge and remains deeply grateful for the invaluable support rendered by the USA Government and its people to Zambia.
