By STEPHEN MWEWACHURCHES in Mungwi district have been urged to venture into sustainable income-generating activities in order to become self-reliant.Former Ambassador to China, Robert Kalimi, said churches should not remain dependent on offering from members, but be innovative to sustain their operations.Mr Kalimi was speaking yesterday when he donated an incubator to Nseluka Pastors’ Fellowship in Mungwi district.He said he would continue supporting churches to be innovative so that they could become self-reliant and continue extending their branches.‘’Self-sustenance is important, therefore you the churches you should not remain so dependent on offerings from your church members to sustain your operations.
