By JACKSON MAPAPAYITAILORS in Mushindamo have been empowered to make and supply 6,000 face masks, courtesy of the Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit (DMMU).The 6,000 face masks will then be distributed in all the schools in the district.Mushindamo District Administrative Officer, Oscar Mugala, confirmed the development in an interview yesterday.Mr Mugala said the tailors had swung into action to ensure that they meet the target.“Yes, I can confirm that the Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit has awarded a contract of making face masks that will be supplied in all the schools.
