By ANDREW MUKOMADESPITE being affected in revenue collection due to the Covid-19, the Livingstone City Council has committed itself to offering quality service delivery.This is through the Ward Development Funds (WDF) which would be disburses to all the 17 wards in the district.For Freedom Ward in Dambwa North and Airport area, the K70,000 WDF was channelled towards the rehabilitation of main roads and clearing of drainages.Livingstone Mayor, Eugene Mapuwo, said the local authority would ensure quality services were delivered to the people despite the negative effects of the pandemic on council revenue.Mr Mapuwo said the council would continue to provide services based on the urgency and needs of affected areas.He was speaking during the grading and compacting of one of the most negatively affected roads in Dambwa North.“We are here to provide services.
