By ANDREW MUKOMATHE Zambia Scouts Association (ZSA) South Division has kicked off a hand sanitizing programme of all passengers on public buses in Livingstone in the wake of COVID-19.This follows an orientation training which was conducted by the District Health Office for the scouts who will be conducting the exercise.National Field Commissioner, Garry Zulu, said the decision to sanitize all passengers at the main bus station was meant to supplement Government’s efforts in the fight against the spread Coronavirus.“The first thing we have done is that, us commissioners, went through an orientation training by the Ministry of Health through the district health office on Coronavirus.“This hand sanitizing exercise will be an ongoing exercise and we are not just targeting passengers but even passers-by getting to the station,” Mr Zulu explained.Mr Zulu said it was in time such as now that the scouts should get active in serving the community, particularly on safety and health matters.“As […]
